Certified Piping & Welding Experts

Our certified piping and welding specialists have experience working with a variety of materials, including stainless steel, carbon steel, plastic, aluminum, and fiberglass, and utilizing multiple joinery methods—welding, threading, gluing, and fusion. We commonly work on these types of projects for medical facilities and commercial buildings (like banks and offices).

We can install or repair the following types of systems:

  • Steam
  • Hot water
  • Cooling tower water
  • Process water
  • Chilled water
  • Process piping
  • Hot oil piping

Arc Welding

Arc welding is the most common type of welding today. Electricity (in the form of an “electric arc”) is used to heat and melt the piping material. Once hot enough, two separate pieces can be joined together and bound (once cool).

Orbital Welding

Orbital welding is a higher quality and much faster method than traditional arc welding. A computer can take and store the skills of a master welder and use that information to mechanically produce quality welds at a much faster pace and with more consistency than a human ever could. Thousands of identical, quality welds (without protrusions) can be created smoothly and efficiently over a very short period of time.

Heliarc Welding

Heliarc (commonly known as TIG or GTAW) welding is a traditional method that requires great skill and knowledge. It’s a more difficult, complex, and time consuming process because it requires the careful use of both hands—one to hold the torch and the other to add filler metal to weld the joint. The welder has great control over the weld and, therefore, the outcome can be stronger and higher quality than other forms of welding.
